Use the hvy button spring from the build kit. Have to shorten it a bit. Stuff it under the leaf spring. [emoji6]

Would this be better than hacking in a Reo spring you think?

Correct me if I'm wrong, it won't be the first time, but I believe Bobs magnet fix replaces the spring in the button assembly while most people interested are trying to avoid this:

I just replaced this one today after many months and a couple (OK, more than a couple) of drops. It was (somehow) still hitting pretty well.
Not sure how it is possible to damage what you guys call the 'Leaf Spring' or negative 510 connector, unless you are running at .1 or consistently shorting your 510.
I own a few 'originals' used daily, and none of them show even a hint of wear on this connector

Neat!Yep, masking tape, rolled adhesive side out. It stays where you put it and it's easy to adjust the thickness of the log.
I'm replacing my bottles in everything and I'm going to try that masking tape tip. I do have 10 more springs, but it's kind of a pain to change. That tape might do the trick for me.
