Cartomizers vs Clearomizers?

I see lots of cartomizers, some cheap others much more expensive then clearomizers BUT what is the real difference?
Do cartomizers leak some clearomizers? are they just for building your own coils/wicks?

Old school carto's and new school subohm vertical coil are kinda the same in their operation theory. the big difference is old school carto's are very limited to the power they can actually handle with newer devices due to small wire for coils and polyfil for wicking. Subohm clearomizers are made very similar with larger kanthal wire and less wicking (that is organic cotton). The lower the ohms the more straight to lung they seem to be. The higher ohm (1.0,1.2,1.5) seem to favor mouth to lung style. (Super Tootie Puffing!)

With cartomizers you add several drops of juice, vape, add more juice.

Clearomizers are a tank with a coil. Usually hold between 1.5ml - 4.5ml of juice.
