Good morning. I got up pretty early this morning. Apollo wouldn't let me sleep in.

Last nights dinner was supposed to be meatloaf. It turned out to be giant hockey puck. Gross.

Working on laundry and trying to prod myself to the hall closet to clean it out some. It's the closet that you have to duck when you open it. I've got to get it at least usable in the next couple of days.

I just Googled, they look sort of like a George Foreman grill??

They are, but the top can hover over the bottom so you don't squish the food, like for melting cheese on something. I'm trying to decide if I need one.

Grease a heated stovetop skillet with oil, butter or cooking spray and place the assembled sandwich in the center. 2. Lay another pan, plate or lid on top of the sandwich. Weigh the press down with a heavy can or a full tea kettle—or just push down on the surface as the sandwich cooks.

I also have a cast iron bacon press, that would probably work fine too, even though it has a piggy design on it.

The strangeness never ends. Mr. V was going to the store and saw something weird on the side of the road. Of course he had to get out and investigate. Now the police are on their way to check it out, there's no reason for the carcass of a butchered cow to be on the side of a back road in the woods. Weird, just weird.

The conversation between Mr. V and the sheriffs office was a hoot. A what? A cow. Seriously, what? Seriously, a cow. Even the cop that was responding called us, just checking to see if he was really going to look at a cow. Yep.

We're going with aliens at this point. Whoever did this, didn't take meat. Just the insides. Stranger and stranger....

And now that I am creeped out, time to think about something different. Who's watching the super bowl tomorrow?

Maybe a field dress and something spooked them before they got it loaded. Or it bounce off their truck on the way to the butcher. Still thinking it was poached.
