Burning flavor with my RBA

Hi I need help, I have a Kagertech tank with an rba that when I bought the setup the guy who sold it to me made the setup and it worked great, now I tried to wick my own coil and failed and the guy said I used too much cotton, he makes me a new wick and now I can't take more than 3 hits without getting this burnt rubber hit that burns me, how can I fix it? is it the coil? Is it the cotton?

Most likely the cotton/wicking.

After you rewick it, take a few "primer puffs". Close off airflow and take a hit or two without firing the mod to get the juice in the cotton. Then let it sit 5-10 minutes.

What mod are you using? Try lowering the watts to begin with and go up in small increments.

It's an RBA mini and yeah I think I might have to rewick because I used it at 25w normally now I'm down to 15 and it still gives me the burnt rubber taste

how long since your last rewick?
might need rewicking after 2 days if you vape a lot or at high wattage

maybe you have a hot leg

Once it'd been burnt once, it's pretty hard to get rid of it without rewicking. Before putting your nee wick in, dry burn th coild to get any "gunk" off

This always with the same juice? What is the VG/PG ratio? What mod? Tried turning the power down?
