Could someone please explain to me how the 510 threading works.

For e.g. on the older Reos without the adjustable 510, how does the RM2 screw in to have the air hole facing in the correct position? Does Rob prepare these atomizers to be compatible with these threads?

Bonus question: If the best position for the air hole for a single coil is face "up" when you take a hit, how does that translate to a dual coil atomizer where the holes are opposite one another?

An o-ring under the atty allows you to position the air hole where you want as it provides a spongy seal/dock. I believe the 10 x 1 mm o-rings are preferred.

With dual holes, the convention is to put them at 3:00 and 9:00 (where your "up" is 12:00).
