well ive got some "junk" silver I may just have to visit and see what I can do to "fixup"/"hotrod" my reo with!!im a lil giddy thinkin how much better I can make the squonker fire!!!...fun fun!!
the stuff I used was "dead soft". So, I could take whatever shape and pound it flat(ish) with a hammer. After that it's just filing, snipping, sanding drilling, bending. (by the time your done beating the crap out of it . .. it's "work hardened")

It was more the flex and return I was after.
No clean up would be nice. As it is, I rarely dabble some deoxit within a week or twos time just for a freshen up.

Oh, I wouldn't use "plating" or "coating" on any make break contact that's playing against a battery. I just couldn't tiptoe that softly . .. it'd be gone in a flash.
That's what I was figgerrin.
But I was thinking more for the wifey.
She uses less current and of course might appreciate a lighter touch.
I figured wouldn't hurt to try. Worse comes to worse, I just put back in the copper bar.

I noalaxed my dibi button recently. I delayed it since super x made it look difficult. Easy peasy japanesy.
Anyone have issues with the soft bottles not squonking so well after about 1/3 full? I have them for the soft factor. And they are good at that. But why make an 8.5ml only good for 5ml?
