Istick30w won't charge

Just came in the mail but it won't charge please advise. Been a hour now. Had a little juice bit died when I tried to turn it.

give it a few hours before you give up it takes several hours to charge.

This is what the manual says about charging-

How to charge?
istick 30W can be charged through USB port at the bottom of battery. It will take 2.5 hours to charge the battery with 1A wall adaptor.

You may have to wait a bit longer.

I have several of the iSticks myself. They have been very reliable for me.

It's crap doesn't even light up after 30 minutes. Gonna get the cool fire if I have to take this back crap batteries this comes with.

fyi the Coolfire IV recommends you put it on the charger out of the box
for 4 hours before trying to use it.

Do you have a backup? Let it charge the 2&1/2 hours. Mine takes well over 3..

So apparently I need to take off the subtank mini in order for it to charge? I took off the subtank mini and now it's charging. lol

Okay it works, is it supposed to pop when inhaling or is the volts too high? It's at 2.2 volts.

If you're using the .5 coil, the subtank shouldn't be doing anything at 2.2 volts.

And I second getting a coolfire4. It's my backup to my 50W Istick. I gave my 30 to my brother so he could try to quit smoking with vaping for the 100th time. It's a solid device and works great. Only downside is the battery life. Which I find weird that they didn't go with 2 cells in there since the coolfire is actually around the same size as the 50w istick even though it seems smaller. But I decided to give him the 30 because my subtank plus looks stupid on it and fits the coolfire like a dream.
