although the CLR 'cap' sometimes stays IN THE Air Tube (and is frustrating)
I look at it as being from good design & quality - IMO
to think that--that seal is strong enuff to 'hold'
and the threads are smooth enuff to allow unscrewing
and it is all machined good so not to 'bind' up ; and ALL my ego one tanks do it
(unscrew base, then reinsert and about 1½ turns catches cap threads, ez/pz)

Totally agree in the quality of workmanship, which is why I seem to be amassing only Joyetech products lately. I got hooked on the Ego one mega because of the size; great to fit in my pocket and the battery would last the day. It has become my going out setup. I have the Ego One Vt and 2 Evic VTC minis but to be truthful I've never tried the nickel or titanium stock CL coils that came with units. I have a 5 pack of the CLR titanium .05 ohm coils that I will give a try when I get brave enough to try temp control, right now I'm quite happy just mildly puffing along.

;) lovin' the quality

the 'stock' CL TC coils are pretty much YUK !
the CLR Ti is a lot better, pull cotton and put your own in...

don't let TC scare ya
VTC mini -set it to like 35w / 300°
wet the Ti coil and have at it (just that simple)
just keep 'bumpin' up the TEMP till YOU LIKEY :) (300°, 350°, 410° etc)

no biggie, if you don't like it - oh well ;)

good luck

so I really have been getting into my eGo ONE Mega Tanks
made the final decision to stock-up on them
something different about the latest builds, seem a little better quality (very nice)
so I got a box of them now for the long haul (vapeocolypse dooms day box, ya know)

so if nobody noticed - wismec makes the "Venti" a big 30mm (5.8ml) tank and 3000mah battery (ala` 26650 style)
but it uses the CLR coils !
it is short & fat and I like the looks of it
so finally I took a chance and bought one figuring it will 'just' sit nice on my TC60w
well it came in today and boy does it fit cool - short, fat, wide...
tons of room inside to fill, clean, dry, look - just wow !
(it WON'T fit anything else)

only have had it for a couple hours, washed it, built a 1.6Ω CLR / rayon coil for it
and now breakin it in - so far I love the combo...

Thanks Puf for letting us know of another tank that uses the CLR coils.
I know Wismec's amor tank and the Vamos I tank also uses the CLR.
My go to tank is still the Mega One and still uncommitted on the Tron. The one Tron
I had has now got stripped threads, which could have been my fault by over tightening.
I've got a couple more coming from Fasttech with another VTC mini as I really liked the draw on the Tron.
I found it guzzled more juice than the Mega, which was of no issue as I DIY.

so an update on the king of ego one tanks (Venti)
been using it non stop since I got it, it's just GREAT !
it's like an old friend and REALLY works good
but where are they, almost impossible to find/buy...

I keep buying (a few) ego one tanks when I see a good deal...

recently found they are absolutely PERFECT on my new eleaf PICO
I mean they just fit perfect - all but the ego one mini - it's so skinny then tall it looks funny
the 19mm / 1.8ml tank looks the best SUPER STEALTHY

so I am still loving and using my eGo ONE tanks

I ran across a good deal awhile back and ordered some new 2.5ml x 19mm (the candy apple red is gorgous)
and was pleasantly surprised when I opened them up to find Joyetech has opened the windows up some (enlarged)
upload_2016-5-10_12-42-20.png

so Joyetech is still tweakin them and not just letting them be a forgotton item...

I found my happy place with these tanks coupled with the CLR coils

SO, have you ventured into Temp Control yet ???????????????? :D

haha, so it looks like I might of created a monster-no I mean a monster of a vape machine... :danger:

I sorta stumbled into this and assembled quite the handful of a device ~ and I like it :w00t:

of course I've been sqwakin' about the 30mm VENTI tank (w/CLR) (found & got those)
but just because I have a Presa 75w I wanted to try the bigger Presa 100w (26650)

jeez-it's big 30mm across so Venti sits REAL NICE on there...
then put a huge 26650 4500mah battery in and well, the fun begins...

now I have a evic VT 5000mah and it is HEAVY ! - this rig is a bit heavier

so I am fascinated with this and I can't put it down (except to REST my hand) :D

I'm waiting for my 'Stout' but that 26650 will only fit the ego one mega 4ml tank :?:

Impressive my old friend. Impressive

yepper, many days after the whole 'deal' fell together and I am still pretty impressed :w00t:

it might be best described as mass simplicity
a big whomping chunk of longevity (4500mah) and capacity (6ml)

it is big, heavy and manly...

it's a "brute"

Yeah I have an Ego one mega that I was using with the Ti coils and was pretty happy with it. I won a kanger dripbox from Pauly meatballs on his you tube channel and was immediately smitten with it. I've never Squonk ed before and guess I didn't know what I didn't know...But due to the FDA Crapolla I'm going to be getting lots of clr coils and bringing the ego one mega out of retirement. I'd like to pick up a few more tanks too. Cover my bases ya know??

sure do, I've bought a-plenty of tanks when I see a sale (months)
best I've found was $4.95 for Megas (all sold out now)

but here's a place that I have bought several from...

- Joyetech eGo One Mega Black Clearomizer Tank
- Joyetech eGo ONE 2.5ml Stainless Steel Clearomizer Tank

Vape it like ya stole it...

the CLR Ti is a lot better, pull cotton and put your own in...

Hello there, Puff! About that CLR Ti coil, what's the size of the air hole there? I'm still finding that the 1.8 mm is a just a tad too tight, whereas the 3.5 is way too much for me (that's the regular CLR coils). I'm trying to find an in-between size, if it exists.

Thanks!
