There's a small Gap, but that's part of the design.

Your talking about the gap from the very bottom of the tank to the mod. Correct? I thought about grinding down the 510 so the atty fits flush.

The way that the air flow control wraps around the bottom of the tank, the gap is kinda necessary. There is a ledge at the center of the atty, and the sits flush... I had a problem with it initially, but not so much after a few days of use...

Is that the Alien? I was really surprised by the size of it. Almost identical in dimensions as my RDNA.
Yup... I think the iPV6x is a touch smaller, but, from what I'm reading, not nearly as good...

Well the iPV6x with 1.5 firmware is a great device, the other two are a bit meh since TCR doesn't work.

The form factor and build quality is stellar though. My sister owns a vape shop and gave me one a few days ago, unfortunately it's the first version.

That's what I've read. However, as there are no outward indicators as to which version you're getting, and no firmware upgrades (despite advertising to the contrary), I still think I prefer the Alien. Kind of a bummer as I really liked the iPV5 and was looking forward to the 6.

Indeed, I certainly couldn't recommend it.

*edit*
Actually if you don't care about temperature control I would recommend it, it's just that TC is important to me.

The Smok mods are suppose to be really good these days. Did not used to be that way I remember when they first putting products out.

Yup. After the debacle that was the XPro M80, it's kinda surprising that they rebounded as well as they did. I had the M80 and was kinda determined not to own another Smok, but then I won an XCube II... Now, I own 8...

I have a Xpro M80 and it was terrible thing it was a dud because it was just the perfect size device for its time and had awesome battery life. Mine after about a week would only work in mechanical mod no VW.
