so I made good progress with the boring today. still a bit more to do; but I should get that finished up tomorrow, and get started on the carving. Weather today was simply peustilious for photos. Tomorrow is supposed to be nicer. Might take a stab at shooting some clippings of the butchery.

Thank you all for the birthday happiness. 
Wife got me a new ecig battery charger, and a car battery conditioner/charger.
And I got my new (new to me) truck out of the shop.
New suspension and no more oil leaks.
Drives and handles like a new 4X.
I really miss you guys. I've been working and going to school and working a second job and organizing a new home shop. It's the first time in 3 years I've gotten behind on this thread.
I gave my 3 pinch and punch tuneups just yesterday.
All still working beautifully with no leaks.
Rock on fellow dibidabblers!

So happy to hear that you're keeping busy and tackling stuff and making big strides.
OK, well the big bores are done (but/still/too/tho, gotta do the cleanup bores . . . a different bit to smooth the sides and flatten/precision the bottom/depth . . . and/but/still/too that's only like another hour+ of work and then I'm into chiseling)
