New modified VT 510, new battery contact system, modified negative battery contact system modified also to reduce battery wear on the bottom of the battery. New modified peek screws which are much stronger than the original nylon screws.

Just a heads up: I'm putting the finishing touches on the Lbcjr. These will be dna75, 20700 battery, Italian bottle. I will be doing 25 of them in 3D printed carbon fiber re-enforced nylon. This material amazes me. No 3d print lines or seams, amazingly strong, and silky smooth. I haven't taken many pics yet but here's a sneak peek of the bodies.

Bingo. 30amps 3100 mah. Hits just like the LBC sr. with similar if not slightly better run time all in a smaller package.
No, I checked the suppliers of batteries that I use. Illumn only had a 12A one, but IMR had both a 15 and 30A.

That thread mentioned the source (IMR) for the 30A version being discussed/tested/reviewed.
I expect other suppliers will follow as it gains popularity.
Count me in for one! Anyone have a lead on a good charger for a 20700? My only charger is a LUC V4 - 26650 is as far as it'll go...
The 20700 fit in the LUC Irish. They are smaller around than 26650s, but just a little bit longer. Just fits with the sliders all the way extended.
As it stands 50mm wide and the rest the same as the LBC. Theses are being sent to Harry with the directive of shortening the design significantly.
Whats the dimensions on these again?
Any color you like. As long as you like black. This 3d carbon fiber only comes in black. It could be painted however. This material would take paint very well.
