Why all of a sudden I can't post in new member forum it says I have insufficient privileges but I've been posting in there for the last year ?

Really? That's weird. There was never a post limit for that, and it certainly looks like you've been posting long enough to go anywhere you want. Maybe there's a forum help section you can post that to and have them reset whatever is going on.

If I remember correctly, the new member area will not let you create new threads after you have either reache'd 100 posts or have been a member for a year.

Close - after 70 posts the system considers you no longer a New Member
You can post in threads but you can't create a new one.
