My coils resistance has been fluctuating a lot today. It started at .51 ohms in the morning. In the early afternoon i went to change the wattage and the ohm reader said .58 ohms. The last coil (the one that came with the tank) didnt do this. I understand the coils heat up and it was warmer than usual today but is this variation in resistances normal?

Someone else has already answered this question for you on another post. It's normal for them to fluctuate a little here and there.
Absolutely normal. All metals vary their electrical resistance with temperature. Neither is the ohmmeter in your mod all that accurate.
