    Somewhere between here and there
PT, I'm a little confused on the size limits for carry on bags for the airlines. I have this bag Tactical Performance™ Marksmen Range Bag | Academy that I was going to use as a carry on but am not sure if it's too big or not. I see two sizes listed. One appears to be for like a small suitcase and the other for a shoulder bag.

Good Morning. Not sure who you are flying but most American carriers allow you to carry-on a personal bag (laptop,purse,etc..) and a carry-on luggage about 22x16x10. I assume from KC to Chicago you will fly SWA, they are usually not picky about carry-on. I have never flown them but I hear ultra-low cost like Spirit & Frontier will charge for any carry-on.

    Good morning all

    Have a good flight Hitt.

I wonder if the smaller size is to fit under the seat and the larger size is for the overhead bin. you'd be surprised how big some of the bags are that fit in overhead bins. (unless it's from birmingham, where we have lots of smaller planes with no real overhead space- in that case you drop the bag when you board and pick it up on arrival and it still counts as carry on)
