The price I paid for the machine, spare pods and 15 coils was about $20 less than I could find stateside and shipping was cheap. Not complaining about the time it takes, just excited for it to get here!!
I read on here last night about using a needle to poke holes in the cotton at the top of the coil. I can't remember who posted/discovered this, sorry, but I wish to thank whoever it was very, very much. I am now able to vape a juice which was previously burning out my coils, not to mention my throat. One happy little vaper right here
Aye!
Nice, I bet those 1.2 ohm heads will fit the penguin. Maybe even the air block thingy.
Looks like the maximum output is still 50 Watts (fresh off the charger). That won't be a problem hitting a 1.2 Ohm coil?Nice, I bet those 1.2 ohm heads will fit the penguin. Maybe even the air block thingy.
Not at all..... A 1.2ohm coil wont go above about 15 watts on fully charged bat.Looks like the maximum output is still 50 Watts (fresh off the charger). That won't be a problem hitting a 1.2 Ohm coil?
I am curious about the airflow restriction block, and if it will fit the Penguin. It is a separate piece from the coil, the coil cartridge itself is the standard JVIC shape as all the others.

Looking at the silicon bottom of a Penguin Pod, it is doubtful, but possible. I wont know until I get one in my hands.
Same for me. In fact I just changed a burned coil. I checked it out and it was soaked, the two holes I poked on the top opperture were visible and no real sign of burned cotton on the visible parts, but still I was getting dry hits and burned taste. My problem with the .6 is constant dry hits.
I chain vape. I have not poked holes in the .6. The only time I have burned a coil is because I wasn't watching my juice level. I do find by day 2 though that after a few minutes of chain vaping I get gurgle. Then if I invert the unit juice pours out of the mouthpiece. Then it will vape fine for a few more minutes and rinse and repeat clearing the gurgle.Same for me. In fact I just changed a burned coil. It's weir to me since the coil was soaked. I don't understand. The 0.6 coils won't last me more than a day.
Do you guys chain vape on the penguin? Or is it more a casual vape? I am thinking that it's possible that I don't let enough time between hits for the coil to reabsorb juice, it would be helpful if I could know if you chain vape, at least to confirm or discard this suspicion.
Thanks.

With the lower ohm coil that does not happen for me.
