I've never tried to build coils. Probably will at some point. I bought 1 bag of 50 pre-made 2 ohm coils from China last year and I still have plenty left. It cost me about $3.

Thanks all, and to Crowedude and MadVapes! I've never owned a variable voltage mod before, and I've only used the Smok dripper rda, so I'll get some good use out of this.

No horror stories. I sometimes absent-mindedly pour liquids into my cartomizer thinking it's eliquid: olive oil, orange soda, vinegar, water. The olive oil wasn't bad at first because it was mixed with some residual RY4/menthol. Took me a dozen puffs to notice it.
