Got my second Merlin yesterday. It's every bit as good as the first. I put in a 6x32g SS vertebraid coil for TC and it's been rewarding me with excellent flavor, no dry hits, and zero leaks. Both KGD and Muji cotton wick have been working great.

There should be one in the spares bag. A lot of people either lost it when first cleaning the tank or it wasn't installed at the factory. They seem to pop out easily. If it turns out that you want spares these look like a possible 1:1 replacement.

100% agreed. I'm all about restrictive lung hit single-coil RTAs. It's exciting to have options, even if we don't have nearly as many as the dual coil fans.

If the V2 has a better 510 connection I'd probably get that one, although I've never had a problem with the 510 on my VTC Minis. You can still get the video game and logos with the original VTC, just not the clock. There may be a few internal upgrades other than the on board battery on the V2...

Anytime! I vape exactly the same way. Single 18650 mods are pretty much all I use and I prefer higher ohm SS Clapton builds for TC. Lets you stay low on the watts, has plenty of flavor, and gives you very decent battery life without burning through a ton of juice. Please let us know how you like...

Right now my Bachelor Mini is reading .62Ω and I'm pretty sure it's a 26/32 SS coil. I have a 28/32 SS coil in my full sized Bachelor and it's .91Ω. At least that's what I have in my notes. I retired the full sized tank last week because I was tired of all the seepage.
