My kayfun 5 has been in constant rotation for almost a year now, really like it, and use it in almost the exact opposite of how you use it, I keep the airflow wide open on the restricted lung hit setting. Right now I have a .3 ohm ish fused clapton in it, and vape it around 40-45 watts...

Glad I skipped the alto then. I really liked the build deck on it, but went for the RDTA instead once I saw it. So far the RDTA has been pretty good, for a $22 atty, I can't complain. Personally I am glad it's 22mm, so sick of unnecessarily wide attys that hang over on my mods, or go outside...

The problem isn't the actual filling, its sticking the dropper into the fill port. The excess juice on the outside of the dropper goes everywhere and makes a mess when you insert into the fill port.

Filling this thing with a glass dropper bottle is a nightmare, juice just bleh out all over the place.

Its noisy, different coils haven't made a difference to me. I started with a n80 contact coil, then tried a spaced SS316 build, and am currently using a fused Clapton. Its been noisy the entire time, it's not terrible, IMO, but its noticeably louder than my other tanks and worth mentioning.

Sorry, to clarify I meant the side airflow slot for the air to travel to the center coil, just seems a bit large for the 4.5mm airflow on the deck. I'm sure its fine, just seemed like overkill at a glance, maybe its not.

Seems like overkill on the side airflow, but could be cool. Seems like it'd kinda similar to the pharaoh, except easier to fill, can actually see the juice level, and more direct to coil airflow.

The dual coil deck still wicks much better than the single coil deck for me. Started using a method of wicking with the single coil deck that doesn't actually force the wick up out of the juice channels from the negative pressure from tightening down the top cap, but it still doesn't wick...

Dual coil deck is fine, first attempt, wicking is doing wicking things. Too bad I bought it for the single coil aspect.

Cool, good to know. Maybe I'll contact them if the issue persists. I'll try the dual coil deck, if that's good, then maybe it's just something off with my single coil deck, and see how they want to pursue it.

Lol, naw, haven't used those in quite some time. Good recall though. Mainly just been vaping the kayfun 5 with that restricted lung hit type vape. So far, for me at least, tapering the wick did help, still have the negative pressure build up that I am surprised more people aren't complaining...

Well tapering the wick seems to have helped a bit. Its vaping better now, seems to be keeping up with TC better, guess I'll call it good for now.
