Usually black/gunky coils and wicks are from sweeteners. If you vape sweet juices, there is your answer. None of the reported illnesses are linked to vaping PG/VG/Nic.

Menthol is Menthol. Its not a mixture of substances and you can buy that stuff pure for cheap. If its pure, there will be no Pulegone in it except maybe trace amounts. If Pulegone is really that problematic, just use pure Menthol and avoid mint extracts.

The article even says it was some sort of drug mix. If PG/VG/Nic did this, we´d know for years and prolly all stopped vaping already. It continues; people drink black market hard liquor, go blind and the media tells everyone its the glass thats the problem.

Its not that complicated, really. The thicker your wire, the hotter your vape will be. If you have those 0,3x0,8mm flat wire "Aliens" (they are not really Aliens), then thats ALOT of metal and only little of it is toughing your wick, the rest is heating air. Thats why thick wire gives a hotter...

Resistance doesnt necessarily correlate with Watts needed. I have vaped at 60W from anywhere between 1,2 to 0,2 Ohm. So its Watts for me.

Idk if you can even get VG with less then 0,1% water in it. Never saw it. Even ultra expensive "water free" VG for chem labs is at very best 99,9% with the rest mostly water.
