    TC: Any reason against it?

All I know is that I have been having the BEST TC experience with yihi.. the PWM doesn't bother me at all.. it's completely smooth to keep drawing once temp has been reached.. almost all the others suddenly feel like you are sucking air.... Right now with 420F, 30.4 Joules, MTL Nickel Joyetech...

2 DNA 75C questions..resistance lock and mod internal resistance

I have a VT250S, an epetite60 and a finder 250, and all of them come with the wrong resistance setting apparently.. I can't find one DNA75C that comes with the right one.. this is after searching the forums and stuff. I would say that's why my vt250s absolutely sucks at SS316 TC, it must be more...

    are revived batteries "safe"?

it could be my fault after all this.. i have been watching some video and i have noticed everyone that uses the probes to test, as they are spring loaded, puts some pressure. I have literally just been touching it to the battery. I will try by applying a bit of pressure either end and see if...

    are revived batteries "safe"?

ok i'll get it, but when it gives the same measurements, at least we will know. So the question remains.. and i'll make it an easy generalisation so much less to answer.. does a battery resistance change with age, and how many cycles before a significant change? As far as individual...

    are revived batteries "safe"?

yes but i have read that the dragon is very accurate. It has been tested and reported as such. This is not using the internal battery trays but a separate proper probe like the ones you get with battery testers. I agree the resistance measurements when using the trays are not accurate. The guy...

    are revived batteries "safe"?

Ok, things are not looking good.. for what it's worth, the dragon displays the result as "xx" xx being the number, then, mu.. the u is actually not a u but the shape of an ohm.. so it's milli ohms. I can not find anywhere, including the manual, whether it's ac or dc checking. But, after...

    are revived batteries "safe"?

ok so are there any cheap ways i can "dc" test battery resistance? I wouldn't mind a meter that can do that. Can you recommend anything inexpensive?

    are revived batteries "safe"?

nope, i very much value your input.. i do think it was a fair topic to make though.. because i literally had batteries at almost 0 volts and was legitimately worried. :)

    are revived batteries "safe"?

Interesting.. the second set of 3x VTC5A's has settled on 2497, 2525 and 2535 mah. So, overall the same as the first set. Resistance is also 12. Therefore impossible to ascertain which is good or bad set. The only thing i know for sure, is that i took one set from a mod that i noticed had...

2 DNA 75C questions..resistance lock and mod internal resistance

Hi there.. The general consensus is from most searching I have done, that it is not necessary to lock the resistance in Tc mode on dna boards.. even as far back as my dna40, i can confirm the resistance stays put and does not make a difference locked or unlocked.. the only time i could think of...

    are revived batteries "safe"?

ok these were not charged, they were at 3.6 volts.. yes 12 milliohms.. the letter the dragon uses to display it is not available on KB.. i presume 12 milliohms is ok then. Don't know what you mean by ac ir. yes the readings were consistent :) next batch of batteries are testing lower.. 2480...

    are revived batteries "safe"?

ok something's up.. the second batch of 3x vtc5a i am testing, has now been in the opus for just under 4 hrs .. they were already at 4.19 volt, so when i started the capacity test, it quickly charged them to 4.21v and then immediately started discharging them..in fact the discharging cycle...

    are revived batteries "safe"?

That's cool! Thanks. I guess will keep them after all and use them a few times, i am generally a vaper under 50 watts! Thanks again Mooch. FWIW, i did resistance tests on the "bad" vtc5a's with the VP4 dragon resistance probes, it is 12um. That's good, yes?

    are revived batteries "safe"?

internal resistances are all the same as they were before.. sorry i thought i said that.. i did the inaccurate test in the opus cause it's so easy to do.. but *relatively* it still counts that the figures are identical to when i did them say in May (i jotted them all down and posted them here...

    are revived batteries "safe"?

capacity tests showed nothing so far.. 30Q's affected came up as 3032 mah, and 2520 to 2550 for the vtc5A. I will still test the other set of VTC5A to compare. The aspire 1800's did show a drop though to 1680 from 1811 ish. If anyone is interested.

    are revived batteries "safe"?

Ok I have been doing more research.. Mooch is my battery God and a fantastic person to boot, and also thank you Barkuti, but i just wanted to confirm elsewhere.. and the general consensus is not to use these to vape. I will toss the good ones as well, not to take a risk. However, I will do a...

    are revived batteries "safe"?

pretty much no one OS ships lion batteries to oz anymore, seriously. Australia post are making it hard to even ship within australia. If the G320 was damaged, then so would be my alien, my H priv, my snowwolf 365 (which i caught in time), my fuchai duo, my yihi Q, my yihi G, my minikin 2, my...

    are revived batteries "safe"?

it's only ever happened once to any of the batteries it has happened to, but it could have been weeks that they've been sitting in the mod discharged.. you see i have tended to use 2 specific mods the last few weeks and didn't think to check others.. I only thought of doing it for some reason...

    are revived batteries "safe"?

Thanks also Barkuti. i really extra screwed up.. I also, at the same time, took batteries out of the mods that i noticed were draining.. for example a couple weeks ago i had 4 charged batteries in my snowwolf 365 (my fave four battery mod by the way, the only thing of sigelei's i really like)...

an expensive lesson learned.. thank you Mooch.. that's $150 worth of batteries for the bin. Oh well.
