Over a year removed... Current State of Vaping Industry. I feel lost.

Just saw this thread. I know the feeling. I never quit vaping but, I DIY my juice and I settled on a set of gear. I just bought a bunch of it and quit keeping up. Now it seems that some of my gear is unavailable and I need to switch. The problem is figuring out what to. So, I come on here...

Long time vapor but, need some noob advice.

Thanks for the reply. However, I never liked silica. The idea of inhaling glass fiber never appealed to me. Perhaps someone else can use that info though. I tried to stock up years ago but, my stock ran out and I find I can't replace it. Thanks for letting me know about ArcticFox it looks...

Long time vapor but, need some noob advice.

I started vaping in 2011. Most of you can't imagine how crappy the gear was back then. I was pretty active on here in those days. Anyway, I bought the latest thing for several years. I learned that for me that $200 mod or RBA didn't really vape any better than the Chinese clone that came...

Best website to buy an ego?

You probably won't get the best price but, if you want the best customer service and fastest shipping to your door, no one is better than cignot.

Where to get unflavoured 100mg nic liquid?

I have to mention Xtreme Vaping. They aren't the cheapest but, they are reputed to be the best.

    Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

I need to point out something for those of you that are sticking with cotton because you're worried about viscose. Viscose is cellulose fiber. Cotton fiber is 90% cellulose. Both are biodegradable. I'm not particularly worried about either one and from a health standpoint, I don't see much...

    Do you reuse your syringes?

I wonder if he'd say the same thing about a graduated cylinder. I have the same syringe I use for everything since I started vaping.

My doctors reaction to my PV at my checkup today :)

My family doctor, an ENT, and a cardilologist (my heart's fine genetic atrial fibrillation) all have me as a former smoker. My wife's pulmonologist loves PVs.

Need help huge problem so confused

There's a mistake people make with voltage. They think they found their sweet spot and never venture from it. You'll never consistently get the best vape, if you do that. If you're sweet spot isn't sweet, it's time to vary the voltage. Coil resistance changes over time. The voltage you need...

Wick and Coil Tips and Tricks.

The heat is more a function of the coil resistance and voltage than the device. The cobra is cool!!! Phiniac is supposed to get them soon.

    Ceramic wick

Late reply but, I see you didn't get an answer. The reason is your question is a little general and difficult to address without writing a book. ALL PVs use juice. The difference is in how they are powered and how they deliver juice to the coil. However, juice is never the only consumable...

    Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

I like it too but, it is bamboo viscose. I looked that up and viscose is rayon. It's a material made from cellulose. So, Aunt Lydia's is made from cellulose extracted from bamboo. So calling it bamboo is sort of like calling our nic juice tobacco. That's no reason to stop using it. I'm...

    Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

I think Cyrus posted a while back about getting some hemp for stringing beads that he was thinking about trying. I he didn't post about it again. Not sure whether he tried it. It would work in a genesis, if you could find something small enough and it actually wicked. The only...

    Gripper Discussion

Here are some other possibilities. You might have a tough time getting things where they need to go in the boxes you posted. They'd screw it up with that one button menu system. That's the reason I don't own and am not interested in a Provari.

That smoketek's a good value and I agree with you on the meter for voltage. I think numbers for that are foolish but, ohms and battery life are useful if you're into RBAs.

You're going to need some NR wire. If you don't have it, you're going to get high resistance and you'll probably fry your wick.

    Gripper Discussion

Personally, I really like my Gripper. I use IMRs either AWs or Pannies in it. So far, the battery door is holding up. Don't care for the clicky switch. If I could figure out how to get in there without destroying it, I'd look at replacing that switch and put some epoxy putty around the 510...
