I want to get a 5 volt passthrough but am confused about what exactly I need to vape from a wall outlet. I know I need a USB adapter, but all I see for sale online are "USB wall chargers". Can I use these chargers as a direct connection to vape, or do I need something more specific? I ask this...

Just got a 5v box mod from Mad Vapes. Like the mod, but I don't like the changing LED. I'd like to disconnect it, and my hypothesis is that I just have to disconnect the 470 ohm resistor (How to Build a 5 Volt 510 Box Mod). Has anyone done this? Will I ruin the entire circuit by doing this?

I'm currently using some 3.7 v units (the Icon, Tornado and the small Precise) always use a LR atty and dripping the maintenance and atty burn out problems are a bit of a head ache but I love the great taste and vapor production. Would a 5 or 6v mod be that much better?

Just wondering if you get the same voltage and all that other stuff (I'm still really confused on ohms and voltage and amps) as you do with a 5v mod.
