Built this and have tried so much to get it firing correctly. No idea whats wrong. As you can see in pictures the 510 is getting the correct volts. the mosfet gets warm when you fire it via switch(like its suppose to). but not one atomizer will fire on it. tried 2 orchids, kayfun and a kraken all nothing. Any help would be damn appreciated. Been stuck on this hurdle for cpl weeks now and need outside opinions. and yes i suck at soldering i know this:)

measure the voltage while the atty is attached -- what voltage does the back side of the 510 show?

sounds to me like its getting shorted out somewhere.... if the transistor is getting hot its putting the power somewhere on the otherside...

(or you wired it backwards ;) but im assuming thats not the case ;) )

that is a n channel losfet for what its worth -- so something else is the problem -- check to see if your 510 is shorting out with your atties or something...

you do realize that the metal tab is electricly connected to the center pin too right? make sure its not shorting out somewhere...

thanks for the reply buddy! I took the mosfet out and just straight connected it and it works perfectly. def something to do with fet. I had it wored exactly like fred from findmyvapes. But I have a 20amp switch and i never go under .4 when vaping so im thinking of just leaving it out, got so frustrated last night i gave up lol. really appreciate your time
