Bought (not received yet) a few simple 510 dripping atomizers. I want to also get a drip shield from Empire mods. I believe I need a
510-510 adaptor. Since I'll be using the 510 primarily on my Provari, do I want sealed adaptor or unsealed? Empire sells both and their explanation of the difference is not kindergarten enough for this novice.

Sorry, I should be in bed. A sealed adaptor will keep juice from getting on the battery connector. It won't hurt the connector to get juice on it, it's just messy.

I drip LR306s and sometimes 510s, but I don't use a drip shield, so there's no need for an adaptor. The attys aren't sealed (I use the same ones for my bottom-feeders) I just wipe the connector off periodically with a Q-tip.
