I tried bobas some time ago and didn't care for it, much more of a RAF fan. This thread is making me think I should give it another shot. Perhaps I'll get another sample and give it another go. I realize this is futile, but would some of you mind describing the taste? Possibly in relation to RAF? So far, RAF is the only tobacco flavor I seem to enjoy. (sorry to hijack this thread, did not intend to turn it into a RAF discussion).
This week I've been pretty much vaping nothing but AVE juices.. RAF, BB, and 555.
I find that switching between RAF and BB is quite enjoyable. RAF has a bit of sourness to it and is quite complex, so I find that my taste buds get a bit burned out by it. Switching back to BB with the sweetness and smoothness gives the other taste buds a break and it tastes SO good after 10 or so hits of RAF. Then back to RAF, and OOH, that's nice again!
It's hard, because I've heard BB described so many ways... ask 10 people and they will give you 10 answers. Now, to my (somewhat analog-jacked taste buds), BB has a bit of a vanilla cola taste to it, maybe just a hint of raisins, and its relatively sweet. RAF has an initial slightly sour note followed by a lingering subtle caramelly taste. RAF seemed to improve a lot with steeping for me, whereas BB doesn't seem to.
Both are satisfying to me and I like them both, but right at this moment, I'm really loving RAF as well!
Hope this helps.
