Wondering if its necessary to get brand new batteries for your new series box? I have some VTC 4s and i used them but not much.. i was planning on using those on it. Good idea? And if someone could name me some cons of the series circuit?
I guess I assumed the OP was talking about a mod like the Sigelei 100W. Being tht the mod was designed for this and has the appropriate safety features, I assume its as safe as anything else. I've had one for 6 months. I haven't heard of any fires, meltdowns or explosions.
I would not do it in a mod that this wasn't intended for. The Sigs do each have their own battery slots.
That's true, when I usually think of series 18650 configurations I'm picturing a box mod(regulated) with a battery sled, I did forget that people can do a series stacked configuration in a tube. Isn't this essentially the same in a unregulated box as well? I also see a lot of "mechanical" boxes in series with a MOSFET, making things more controlled.
If only i knew how to post pics on here lmao
I'm assuming you are speaking of "series" vs "parallel" battery use. Series in my understanding is "stacking" batteries end to end in the same battery slot. Parallel means using batteries side by side in their own battery slots.
