I have a pair of new batteries that are green 18650's that say "Danger: Do not use outside of battery pack." The numbers are very faint but appear to be SE US 1865 UTC6 C6/ G 0964 8812K05P 144. I don't remember when I bought these or where from, but I buy only at reputable batteries sites. Any help would be appreciated. I am afraid to use them.

I agree - dump them if you can't identify them 100 percent as being genuine Sony VT6. Having said that, all 18650 batteries were designed to be used in packs or sealed inside a device. The way we use them in replaceable battery mods is not what they were designed for.

Murata/Sony, 18650 3.7v 3120mAh. Have 1/2 doz. of them work great!

If they are authentic, they are Sony VTC6. Check out the picture on the IMRBatteries website. Hover your mouse over the pic and it will magnify.

If you bought them from a good supplier they are great batteries with a 15 amp max discharge rate. If you don't mind saying, who did you buy them from?
