Aerotank V2 kanger issue

Hi guys so i recently bought the kangertech v2 it was chuking vapor like a champ and now its not and hits seem harsher i tried cleaning contacts base standard cleaning losening coil a little bit even change out the coil my 50/50 juice has oxidised and is turning yellow but i dont think that effects vapor production i have all airflow holes open. tried changein drip tip even some stronger 18mg pirate eliquid same situation any suggestions on troubleshooting this more?

What type of coil is it? If it is a stock dual coil 1.8 they get gummed up (from eliquid)quickly You might want to try using a cotton dual coil. They are available. I've been vaping for 6 years and I do have one of these in my vaping arsenal.

Yeah its kangers stock dual 1.8 anythign i can do to ungunk them?

There is a small possibility that 4.8v is too much for the design of coil head.

I have a small bottle (aspirin bottle) with everclear in it. Just drop the coil in it and let it soak a few minutes and then shake it. Take it out and rinse. Let dry and your good to go. It will work a few times then there just to gunked up to clean

you might also be flooding the coil. I had that problem with the version 1 aerotank. Tried to pull on it like a cig, and it would constantly flood. once the coil is flooded the performance goes down to next to nothing. Easy fix is to. pull the coil out >> make sure you clean any juice in the bottom section, and blow into the top of the coil with a piece of paper towel on the bottom side. If a bunch of juice comes out. You know it was flooded. Also check to make sure the air holes do not have an juice in them.

thanks for the info ill try to soak the coil in some alcohol maybe rubbing alcohol? juice definitely seems harsher and less flavor

I think most people would suggest not using rubbing alcohol, but Vodka works great!

I have heard some people use straight un-flavored PG before. you might be able to get that at a vape shop. Or, just might have to break down and get a buddy of yours to get you some vodka. Don't want to encourage under age drink or anything.. Just need to clean the vape equipment right!

Yea turn 21 monday so wont be a problem then does plain water hurt coils? still kinda new to vapeing

Juice can start to go bad. Especially if it is constantly get warmed up. example: if you leave it in your car on a sunny day. The nicotine is what turns yellow then it will even turn black. It will make the liquid taste funky after that.

its been on my computer desk capped with ac on so idk maybe a bad buy. 12.99 for a 15ml my uncle game me some pirate eliquid thts 7 dollars per 50ml and tbh cant stand it so steeping it for last resort 18mgs current juice is 6 Cleaned my coil gonna check if it works better if not im blameing juice.

Eliquid usally does go watery when it goes off. It dosent vape too well (I know I've tryed it)

Yea ive had it for about a week and a half and now its watery so maybe its the juice and the 18mg backups i have arent great either cherry flavor tastes like if you got axe spray in ur mouth by accident
