Affordable Mechanical Mod Starter Kits?

Been working with some eGo's now for a few weeks. Getting ready to step my game up to a mechanical mod. I am really into my buddies mechanical mod, if I weren't to go that route, it would be an eVic.

Links to mechanical mod starter kits would be awesome and some information/opinions. Not trying to spend a ton on my first setup. Thanks in advanced!

One of the mechanical mods that have been around forever and is rock solid is AltSmoke's Silver Bullet. It is moderately priced. I owned one for awhile and can say nothing bad about it. I just ended up buying much more expensive stuff, which is in all honesty only different not particularly any better.

Revision: on second thought I don't think the SB is technically fully mechanical, I think it has an electric switch, but I never tried to disassemble it. Still a really good mod.
