It has actually supposed to have been reported for years. I buy my soap/candle stuff on line. Since I have a business license as long as I don't use it for personal use I'm good. Anything I use for personal use I have to deduct and pay taxes on. It only has become prevalent because they placed it on your tax forms this year because people either didn't know they were supposed to do this or were ignoring it. :(

Yup, by law, wherever you take possession, you must pay all applicable sales tax.

Retailers selling locally are required to collect and hold the tax at the time of sale. Retailers selling to remote locations are not required to do so, but this does not relieve you of your responsibility for all applicable taxes.

(I only know this because I have a relative in the legal field)

Happy vaping!
