Anyone tried squonking with a Tsunami 24
I have tried a dozen builds and it keeps leaking from the air holes
Any idea's ?

Yes. Squeeze less. I squonk and hold until the juice works it way into the other side of the air holes from the center BF hole and let them fill a little bit.

I use mine on a Dripbox 160 -

I have not shortened the pin and mine works great on the Dripbox just like posted. The trick I found is NOT filling the center around the pin with cotton. Because the pin is raised it let's the juice pool and be absorbed rather than being sucked back to the bottle.
I found it best to squonk with the cap off for the first little while. Mainly because different juice ratios will flow faster. Just squeeze until the well fills paying attention to it not filling to the top of the air tubes.
It is a good bf rda but like most you have to adjust your use for the topper.

I use a BF 22mm and another trick (which should be way easier on the 24) is to tuck a little wick in front of the air tubes
