Sometimes it doesn't make sense to buy someone a complete kit if you aren't sure they'll get into the whole vapin' thang (yes, thang). Or even if you're unsure yourself and don't want to commit entirely, the EVOD Mega Starter Kit might be just what you're looking for. It's a high-capacity 1900mAh passthrough battery, 2.5ml BDCC clearomizer that uses the standard Kanger Protank 3 dual coils, 10ml bottle of e-liquid, and micro USB charging cable all wrapped up in one nice $29.99 package.

Unlike some of the "budget kits" of yesteryear (I'm looking at you, generic CE4 kits and offbrand Vivi Novas!), the parts in this kit are outstanding in their own right and are easily interchangeable with more advanced stuff (such as replacing the battery with a VV battery or an iStick, or upgrading the cartomizer to one with adjustable airflow). In other words, getting a "budget kit" here doesn't mean you're getting junk parts that will only provide a cheap preview of the products out there and are therefore out $29.99 if you wind up upgrading shortly after!
