Hello everyone! Just a quick question that I can't seem to find an answer to. I haven't used 18650's since I was using mech mods/ the SVD (that should tell you how long its been). Any recommendations towards 18650's for the Plato? Buying one today and need to know which batteries to get (I know it comes with one aspire but you can never have enough right). Thinking the LG HG2 but I wasn't sure if that would be safe or not as it's only 20 amps and I don't know enough to trust it, always used vtc's in the past but those are very hard to come by now.

Considering it comes with a 20ish amp CDR battery and it is a 50w device any of the reputable 3000mah 20a CDR cells will work well.
Samsung 30q
Lghg2
AW
Sony vtc6

Just before & at the low voltage cutoff the amp demand from the battery will be greatest, example - 50w / 3.2v = 15.6a.
Resistance is irrelevant when calculating battery amp demands when using a regulated power device.

Agree with the above. You don't need a 30 amp battery with that mod; a 20 amp battery will suffice.
