Authentic Mechs Vs. Clones

Looking at getting my first mech after my T5 crapped out.

I'd really appreciate some info on the difference in quality between the authentic mechs and clones. I'm looking at prices and authentics are $200 ish while comparabile clones are sub $50.

If these really are just tubes with air holes and a button how different can the durability be etc.

The difference is in the materials and machineing/craftsmanship. An authentic will likely last longer but some clones perform as well as the authenics. To me a clone is a disposable.

To me, a clone is just that, a clone. It's not gonna be as good as the 'real deal'. With that being said there are authentics that are less than $200. If you're brand new to a mech, and are afraid you're not gonna like it, go clone IMO. That way you can save yourself a lil'cash. But remember you're still gonna have to drop a pretty penny. The clone wont work as well as a authentic but it will give you a good idea if you like it or not. If you do, buy authentic. if not, not too much cash spent and you learned. hope this helped at least a lil'bit.
