OP if you do get your tooth pulled, you cannot vape for days. I don't know if you ever had (or heard of) dry socket but it's a pain that is beyond any toothache you could imagine.

Nice thing is, this time since I have been vaping, I can go without and just get some patches or even drip some juice on my wrists if I have a nic fit. I will NOT get dry socket again. haha
Yeah, I swear by sensodyne and biotene mouthwash. My teeth have been horrible most of my life. Even as a child they would crumble no matter how many times I brushed. I see dentures in my near future at 38 years old. Fun times.
I will be doing dentures next month, even the teeth under the crowns have gone bad but the dentist said that's because the other dentist did shoddy work. I'm going with the more expensive route though they are putting in two implants to hold the bottom dentures stead and same with the top. Not looking forward to this at all.
Topical pure or nearly pure glycerol is an effective treatment for psoriasis, burns, bites, cuts, rashes, bedsores, and calluses. It can be used orally to eliminate halitosis, as it is a contact bacterial desiccant. The same property makes it very helpful with periodontal disease; it penetrates biofilm quickly and eliminates bacterial colonies.
WARNING, WARNING, standard operating procedure....DO NOT I repeat DO NOT vape, suck through a straw, or anything else that requires a sucking action for the 1st 24 hours after tooth removal. If you do, you run a high risk of something called dry socket and I have heard that is worse than an actual tooth ache. They do have a paste to help with it, but I have heard it tastes nasty and I KNOW it smells worse....

Vaping actually should cause better breath and a cleaner mouth with VG anyway and probably PG.

My lover of 2 years who is a non-smoker always comments on great my breath is. Hers is not nearly as clean and great smelling as mine. Ha.
That sounded bad but it is true, although she has great hygiene, her breath smells on occasion but mine never does.
Good dentist.i've got really bad teeth due to various medications. And when I told the dentist I used sensodyne he flipped out on me. I'm on the way to dentures in the next few months because mine cannot even be crowned. But he said that sensodyne can rot your gums which is what mine were doing. And he told me from that moment on not to use any toothpaste that even had a drop of flouride in it (not sure why he is against flouride for adults). So found some at the healthfood store with xylotol and teeth are still bad but they don't hurt and no sensitivity either. He also gave me a dry mouth gel that works wonders. Still dreading that next trip to the dentist.
I went back to the dentist today I had another tooth break must've been in my sleep though. They did the normal exam and told me to keep vaping because my gums and cheeks were looking better, but from the one tooth breaking I didn't clean it out as well as I thought I did and now I have a massive infection in my jawbone. I don't have a single saveable tooth so next week they are all comming out and the infection ate some of my jawbone now I have to add in a bone graft. I will add thought the last biopsy came back well no cancer just horrid teeth that have finally caught up with me, but the last dentist who did all the shoddy work before is paying for half of my work. And it only took 175 complaints against him to have his liscence revoked. Good luck to everyone who is having dental problems.
Sorry to .... in...but I read this, was shocked and I think you should change your dentist. He is advising you against Sensodyne, one of the toothpastes UK dentists prefer, and is against Flouride, even the minute amounts that are in toothpaste? My alarm bells are ringing. Does he see you and your insurance as a cash cow, I wonder? I don't expect you to believe me but maybe ask yourself this - did he give you specific reasons for these opinions? If he didn't, LEAVE, please for the sake of your teeth. Hope things improve for you soon.i've got really bad teeth due to various medications.
