I better be right.
And if I'm wrong, there better be an uprising in the vape world.
Maybe it would be the wake up call so many vapers need.
But yeah, I better be right.
Because vapers don't seem all that inclined to wake up.
Not sure where all the accusations toward vapers are coming from?
AFAIC, most are busy turning smokers on to vapers, writing emails, letters, and doing the surveys, etc. My rep is a neighbor so I was actually able to approach the situation in a real living room.
I don't get this bashing vapers thing, like somehow they are a lazy bunch of sloths who have their head up their butts and no clue that vaping has experienced a severe number of obstacles. Mostly regional at this point.
And that only people who CONSTANTLY post about this stuff are "doing something."
As for a major vaper uprising, not that much of the total population vapes, and of that population, you think maybe 1-2% fly a lot, and out of that 1-2% who fly a lot, a good number of them have zero problem just not vaping while in the air. Yeah, REALLy.
You are really over estimating the "shock, horror and awe" that would or even should be given to this idea of no vaping in the air.
Most people who fly a lot are used to restrictions. I haven't seen many major uprisings in the general business population about 3/4 of the hassles that have become regular inconvenience during flying since TSA and homeland security, etc.
Sorry, I guess I just don't get or agree with what you posted.
You know, I have found people who really care often are the ones who are not busy getting hystrionic over stuff.....they are quietly working their magic, sometimes behind the scenes.
This won't be the first time that "vapers" (whoever that is, because it comprises a lot of different types of people, mostly people who are NOT ON INTERNET FORUMS is my bet) have been "taken to task" for needing some kind of kick in the .....
Sorry, but I think most are trying their best to keep things alive, and trying their best to do whatever balancing act they feel is APPROPRIATE.
Not all vapers are activists, militants, or even wish to be escorted off a flight by security for setting off alarms. They have families to support, jobs to keep, and just want to get from point A to point B for their work/job with the least amount of hassle. MOst business travellers I know have a pretty good arsenal of patches, snus, and other HARM REDUCTION PRODUCTS.
Vaping really isn't even necessary on airplanes.
