Basic Chuck configuration

What is the basic material for the body, and for the endcaps?

I seem to remember that the body is copper and the endcaps are brass, but I am probably totally wrong.
The reason I ask is that I am looking for a good endcap color for a change I want to make to one of my early Chucks.

I think copper would be what I want, but I want to be sure of the color choices and options.

You are correct; copper body, brass end cap. At nearly two years of age, my original Chuck is still in daily use.
