Anyway I just got 4 new 18650 batts seen here ..my question is it normal for the charger to get warm to the touch while charging? thx!

Is it the charger that feels warm, or the batteries? And what's the charge current on the charger (also, what charger is that, I don't recognize it)?
I've been using awt batts for the past year in my RX200 mods without any issues at allMaybe ok, maybe not...i do not think AWT is a battery manufacturer, only a rewrapper! That "40A" is surely not the reality...

Yes its normal batteries to get warm during charging.
It's the LUC V4 charging 4 batts at
0.5A..all 4 batts and charger are fairly warm (but not hot) after 3hrs.
batts are still not fully charged yet..
