This is where my wife and I stayed while we were on Lopez Island. It is a little cabin that is almost 100 years old and is owned by my Uncle.

Gosh with the beautiful pics, I can almost imagine sitting there on that porch with a good cup of hot tea and just vaping away and saying farewell to the sun for the day. Lovely pictures as always. That you my two Good Friends!

I really need those few days at the cabin. We went through a major ordeal with my little brother. Just 8 weeks before we went to the cabin he was visiting us at our home with his wife. He was always as healthy as a horse and as big as a Clydesdale. ( 7'1" 425 pounds). He suddenly got very sick. So sick I called 911 for an ambulance.

He was diagnosed a few days late with an extremely Fast Growing Cancer that went through his whole body (including his brain) in only 7 weeks. He passed away the Friday before we went to the island. That time in the cabin, the photo taking and being totally unplugged helped me deal with the loss.

Photo taking and sharing are one of my Stress Relieving hobbies that sooth my soul.
