I use Ko Gen Do cause I can get 60 pads for $18 on Amazon but I love Cotton Bacon, just a little on the pricey side in comparison to the KGD.

I use both KGD and CB, and find that KGD lasts longer, while CB has less initial taste. YMMV

Unbleached, chemical free, organic Japanese cotton pads. Ko Gen Do or Cotton Labo brands both work extremely well. For Cotton Labo puffs get the "large" pads.

For me, the best cotton isn't cotton - it's rayon. Five hundred feet cost about $15 at Sally Beauty Supply. Each six-inch piece makes seven or eight wicks, doesn't burn easily and has very little taste other than from your juice. Of course, this post could start a whole 'nother argument!

Cotton Bacon V2 is my choice. I would try a little of all suggested and see which one YOU like the best.

I once preferred KGD but have long since switched to Rayon, better flavor delivery, better nic hit, easier to shape, longer lifespan , less breakin time,

I've tried so many now, KGD is my favorite, cause it is the easiest for me to work with for some reason. But if I had to pick which is best all around, I'd have to vote for the white cotton! They all have pros and cons.
