Boil that bottle for 3 minutes, it will soften up. You might have to boil it again for a couple more minutes. One of my bottles did great at 3 minutes, the other needed 5 minutes. Works a treat.

I know there are softer bottles out there, but I was going for bottles that'll break-in nicely, but be durable and last a really long time...
I'm still searching for the perfect bottle... I just don't wanna have to grow the thickness of the mod to accommodate a larger bottle...

Update on the bottle....boiled it for 5min...but hard again after cooling up
Then I try to boil it for 10min....still the same

I have recently switched to a 7.5ml bottle, that's a little bigger in diameter, and a little taller. That's what Penguiness got with hers. So maybe, for whatever reason, the new bottles respond to boiling better than the reo bottles... I will do some testing...

CC, have you tried the Vapage bottles? They're 9ml with similar dimensions to the REO bottle
I have not. I know some folks don't like the vapage bottle. I've heard they tend to split and are prone to leaking, though I don't have any personal experience with 'em.
FWIW, I've been using them exclusively for a year now, out of 15-20 bottles in use now, only one has split at the neck threads, and no leaking
I can get some coming in, for testing... If anyone wants that bottle, I could maybe make that an option.

It's a totally different config then the REO bottle, with a flat cap, giving more bottle capacity with the same footprint

If your mod of distinction is the same size as lets say a Peko than the Vapage 9ml bottle would fit perfect!!
Gotta start saving quick now that Super X in in the House!
Fear that the wait time will be 2 years like another mod of distinction we all know!
