Hey, what's the diameter of the heads on those again?

IIRC, it's around 5.5mm, which is less than 1/4".

And I know you you already have a 6-32 die you can chuck in your lathe.

Anyone concerned about the durability of the silver pin?

As a negative contact, for the battery to rest on,....no...

For a 510 pin,.....mebbe.....

Silver has held up without issue on my sumpin and pinches for over a year with constant abuse and no issues thus far

Yeah, we also don't know how a silver 510 pin will react to being in constant contact with juice, and this may in fact vary depending on what compounds are used to flavor the juice.

However, I hereby volunteer my services as a guinea pig.

Ohhh your talking the actual 510 pin not just a battery contact pin. I'm not a big atty changer so I wouldn't be worried about softness, the constant contact with the juice on the other hand.... I like rossum would buy a few and stick one in a Tupperware with juice for some time and see what effect it has if any. I guess the concern would be flavor enhancement of it started to tarnish.

I mangle brass positive pins.

Won't be getting one in silver.

It wouldn't stand a chance.
