Board transplant?

I have an old ipv mini 2 that is has pretty much kicked the bucket. The threaded battery cap has stripped and refuses to stay on. Otherwise everything is fine.

I will be receiving a vapor flask clone and I've heard the knock off dna boards that come installed are kinda ....ty.

So I was thinking it would be cool to put the SX-330 V2C from the ipv mini 2 in the vapor flask clone. I don't really do temp control and would prefer the 70 watts.

Is this possible? How hard would this be to accomplish? I'm decent at soldering but I'm no damn guru. Don't be afraid to crush my dreams I just figured I'd ask on here. Thanks!

I don't see any reason you couldn't. As long as there is sufficient room for the physical size of the board. Of coarse you will most likely have to enlarge or make new holes for the screen and buttons. Really shouldn't be a bad swap.
