The bottles are 8mls max. I used a pipette and barely got 8mls of water in. It's even less considering displacement room when you put the tubing in. Who spec'd them at 8.5mls?

Yea they are easy to squonk. I don't see how the threads and caps will last very long though. Time will tell.

The maker, in Italy.

Hmm, I'd expect the (German made) stainless steel caps to last a lifetime. The bottles themselves, and the tubing, I'm less sure about. Suitable replacement tubing is available on fleaBay, $5 or $6 for two meters, shipped.

I have miles of tubing. It's the threads on the bottles that concern me. Oh well. Enjoying the ez squonk life.

The bottle conversion has now began in earnest... the test phase is over and I'm happy with the results... when you work out the tightness of the cap required there is no leaking... and the squonk is very gentle and the best part for me is the awesome drainage... the wick is left with the right amount of juice and every vape is perfect!

What's with all those silly tanks in the background, Rob?

I still play with other stuff... don't ask me why because nothing beats a REO... I even bought a stinking Rolo (that's what we call the Wismec DNA200)... I connect it to my PC and fire up the software and start trying to work all that crap out... I then unplug it and grab my REO. :D

I have some DNA sqonkers as well and still prefer my mechanicals by a long shot. I just don't get the whole tanks and regulated story... I have tried almost all the mods and tanks and still my REO with a Cyclone is the only really perfect vape for me.

I must also say the new bottle is a revelation... the more I use them the more impressed I am... it makes a big difference to the experience. I gave a bottle to to of my mates and the local forum is going bananas because they want the bottles too! They snoozed and they lost! :p

I vape a DNA40 squonker quite a lot. I bought a couple of DNA200 boards early on, then concluded that there was no way to make a reasonably sized (read "svelte") squonker out of one of those, and in a drawer they sit.

But tanks? Who the heck wants all their juice in constant contact with a hot vaporization chamber?

I went into a local BM shop that just opened the other day. They had TONS of tanks, tube mods, & juices. Showed him my squonker and they had no clue about bottom feeders! Kids these days, it's all about the clouds.:glare: Super sub ohms on flashlight size tubes & tanks!
The way I explained the tank vs squonk was I asked him when he brews a fresh pot of coffee in the morning and that first cup is flavorful and aromatic, then continue to drink the same pot all day, leaving the burner on, how does the coffee taste that's at the bottom of the pot at 4pm in the afternoon?? :nah: enuf said!
