I have been thinking of making a clapton coil for my rta but not sure if it is worth my time. I usually don't vape above 50w but I have heard the flavor is much better with this type of coil. Also is it worth using 316l ss on wrap or will I get the same results from kanthal? I know it will be a pain to make dual coils that are between .33 and .5ohms but I have the proper tools and was thinking of trying something new. Waste of time and money or is it going to make for a better vaping experience?

Claptons require tons of power, with a slow ramp up time. "Clapton" is a very generic term these days, there are a ton of different types.
I've tried dual clapton (26*32awg, 0,85ohm on single coil) from vapeson and have to say, no. This was bad idea.
Not talking about long cooling and heat that coming from my atty to mod, but they hugely spits. I'd have to lower power to level where usual dual coil I'm using (0,3mm) will be enough, so it won't spit that much and still, it was no for me.
I hope, one day, so test some clapton which will be better.
