Carrying tank and battery separate?

Hey everyone, I'm planning on getting a new vape (nautilus mini kit), but the thing assembled is seven inches and would troubling fitting in my pocket. Is it safe to carry the tank and battery separate in my pocket without anything else? Does this apply to all tanks and batteries or is it a case by case situation?

You should be fine just make sure the device is powered off and there's nothing else in your' pockets along with the battery. Hopefully somebody else who owns the same kit can share their input.

My batteries are always in something. A mod or case. I am not a safety nut by any means but somethings just make sense to me. Battery cases are cheap and come in the size you need for the amount you want to carry.

Shouldn't be a problem just wrap the tank up in a paper towel incase it leaks.

I am not too sure about the batteries, but carrying the mod and the tank (wrapped in a paper towel as mentioned above) separately is pretty safe. I'd assume carrying the batteries, if not in contact with anything metal or something, would be fine as well.

For clarity, you're referring to taking the tank off the mod which contains the battery. Not taking the battery out of the mod, correct? What kind of mod is it that contains the battery?
