center post build ?

How do you guys get the legs on your center post builds so nice? I've built three so far and my legs always come out a bit wonky. I use needle nose pliers to bend them as nice as possible but I just don't understand how to get that nice straight bend on them.

I'm building on a freak show mini and mutation x v3.

what wire and gauge?

some people use the syringe needles as like a pipe bender.

i normally wrap my coil up then with mandrel still in place i hover the coil over the top of the atty and grab the leg with me pliers where the bend should go and quickly bend the leg, if you bend slowly you will likely bend more than just the leg.


Another thing you can do is to bend the leg that will be going into the center post so that it is coming off the center of the coil and then copy that distance for the other leg and then you arent far off, hope you understand what im getting at, lol, it works for most attys

Thanks. I can some what picture what you are trying to describe. I'll give it a go on my next build.
