Does anyone know how many amps the ego charger is? I want to know if I could use it with a portable charger.

Rapid Charger is 420 ma so .4A
Their 510 chargers (for their cig-a-likes) are lower, in the 200ma range I believe.
I think quite a few people use them with portable power supplies. I considered it at one point, and I still want to make a USB charger based on Li-Ion cells as I have 4~ on me at any given time.
