However, since I cannot tell if those batteries are C rated, nor do they give you the dimensions, I wouldn't use them.

The batteries you suggested are the ones I bought maybe just from a different distributor. Thanks for the help!
For anybody doing this in the future, be sure to equalize the cells' charge before connecting them in parallel. Not doing so could result in a high current surge which can permanently damage one or both cells. One sure way to do this is to leave them connected overnight with a 100Ohm 1/4W resistor between them. E.g., connect their negative leads directly together and put the resistor from one cell's positive lead to the other cell's positive lead. Fully charging both cells before connecting them in parallel is an acceptable alternative, provided the two cells have the same wear levels and the same charger is used.
