Don't know how many people have either melted or for other reason ruined the Delrin ins. on their Plume Veils, but here is a cheap and quick fix. This might really be of use for those that own the original ones.

You will need the 4-in-1 Detachable 510 Drip Tip from fastech..... sku 1652401. Vaporrider has them for about $5 more, if you want speedier shipping.

In this above picture, you need 3 of the parts. Part 1,3 and 4.

Take part 3 (The clear piece.) and cut off the bottom nub. Now sand or file it some more until you're satisfied. You may find that after first install, you need to sand it some more.

Now take this clear piece with the side you cut away facing downwards and push up into the top cap of the Veil so the threads are facing up. You will have to use a finger to push upwards until it wont go any further. Now take part 4 the black piece and from the top screw into the threads of part 3. You've now made a seal at the 1/2" opening where the Delrin once lived. This is where you will decide if you should file or sand some more from part 3. Once you are happy with part 3, screw the black piece real tight.

Now you can use part 4 as a wide mouth dp or screw part 1 onto it and have a regular dp. If you're going to use part 1 make sure part 4 is screwed real tight so when you remove part 1 it won't unscrew part 4 from part 3. btw... don't screw part 1 tight just snug.

There's one drawback to this set-up. You can't simply pull off the drip tip to fill the Veil. You either have to drip through the tip or pull the top cap.

There are other options but some might like this one. It's certainly cheap at $3.60 from FT
